NVDA · Chainlink …

Trade at the price.
Not at the pool.

Tacit crosses buyers and sellers of Robinhood Stock Tokens with each other at the Chainlink price. No slippage, no pool fee. Just 0.05% a side.

The cost you skip.

Stock Token pools are thin. A large buy moves the price against you before it fills. Here is what that costs right now, and what crossing costs instead.

How it works.

01

Place an order

Buy with USDG or sell a Stock Token. Add a limit price and an expiry if you want them. The order is held by the book contract, not by us.

02

It meets the other side

Buyers and sellers of the same stock are matched first come, first served, at the Chainlink price of that moment. Both sides pay 0.05%, nothing else.

03

Or take the pool

No one on the other side yet? Wait, cancel at any time, or send what is left through Uniswap in one click, filled within 1.5% of Chainlink.

Safety, plainly.

Priced by Chainlink

Every cross happens at the Chainlink price itself. Nobody sets it, and pushing the pool does not change it.

A live-price check

Crossing runs only while the Uniswap pool sits within 1.5% of Chainlink, which shows the feed is current. Outside market hours orders simply wait.

Your limits

Each order can carry a worst price and an expiry. A buy never pays above its limit, a sell never takes below it.

Always a way out

Cancel returns what is left of your order at once, with no price and no fee. It works whatever the market does.

No custody

Orders sit in the book contract. The owner can list markets and tune the fee up to 0.3%, and has no function that moves an order.

New and unaudited

The contract is tested on a fork of mainnet but not audited. Trade sizes you are prepared to lose.

Questions.

Why is there no slippage?

Because the trade never touches a pool. A buyer and a seller swap directly with each other at one price, the Chainlink one.

What if nobody is on the other side?

Your order rests in the book until someone is, until it expires, or until you cancel it or send it to the Uniswap pool.

Can a big order fill?

Yes, in parts. It crosses with as many orders on the other side as it meets, and the rest waits. Large orders are exactly where the pools hurt most.

What does Tacit earn?

0.05% of what each side receives on a cross. Cancelling is free, and sending to the pool costs only the pool's own fee.

Quiet trades, at the price.
